A chaotic story of Nai Hoi Khamduang (Bella Ranee), who has to lead a herd of buffaloes from Isan in place of her father, Nai Hoi Yod (Yong Chernyim), who is seriously ill. She brings the buffaloes to Thung Yai City, which is mourning the death of the Governor's wife. According to the city's laws, every nobleman must send their eldest unmarried son to be ordained to dedicate merit to the Lady. Khun Ek Itthirit (James Jirayu), who is working on important government affairs, falls under this rule. Khun Phra Chuay (Chai Chatayodom), his father, sees that if Khun Ek is ordained, it will damage important government work, so he announces in the meeting of nobles that Khun Ek is not single and already has a wife from his trip to Bangkok. Thus, Khun Ek's mission to find a fake wife from Bangkok begins.
While in a desperate situation, Khun Ek meets Nai Hoi Khamduang, who has just arrived to deliver buffaloes. Khun Ek negotiates with Khamduang to play the role of his fake wife, offering a large sum of money and a rare item, Golden Ginseng, which Khamduang wants to cure her sick father. She agrees to play along as Khun Ek's wife. But the harder part is training the tomboyish cowgirl to be a noble lady from Bangkok. Things inside the house are messy, but outside is even messier when Bandit Chief Sri Chai (Deaw Suriyont) gathers forces to plunder the city!! The Governor appoints Khun Ek as the head of the team to negotiate buying guns from foreigners to protect the city. Khun Men (Ball Kummun), a fierce political rival who hopes to snatch this position, tries to expose Khun Ek and Khamduang's fake marriage because he hopes to get a huge commission from the gun purchase.
According to the contract, Khamduang must stay and help Khun Ek until the gun negotiation is successful before she can be free and take the Golden Ginseng back to cure her father. Meanwhile, Yisun (Bam Saralee), Khun Ek's old lover, returns to create chaos in their lives. With battles against the sorcerer bandit and a love triangle crashing in, Khun Ek and Khamduang must help each other solve both love and political problems. They must fight together until their love gradually blooms in their hearts, becoming inseparable forever.
