The story of Madam Mei, a mother who loves and worries deeply about her three sons: Rak, Rawee, and Ronnakorn. She hopes to find good wives for them once they graduate. However, Rak secretly visits a brothel at the persuasion of Chen, the stepson of Tow Kae Jiew (Mei's husband from China), contracting a disease that prevents him from taking his exams and forces him to repeat a year. Rak also impregnates Janram, a housemaid, and refuses to take responsibility, leading to his expulsion from school. Meanwhile, Rawee falls in love with Ranee, the only niece of Khun Pisamai, Madam Mei's arch-enemy.
