Feuang (or Feuangchat) and Phawat were the best of friends, nearly inseparable. However, after graduation, they drifted apart when Phawat went abroad to further his studies. Though they stayed in touch and their hearts remained connected, both were plagued by uncertainty.

Then, the news arrived: Phawat was getting married. Driven by their lifelong friendship, Feuang knew she had to attend. When she arrived at the wedding, Phawat was overjoyed to see her—but was she truly happy for him?

After Feuang left, Phawat was forced to confront his own actions. He realized he had been reckless and "easy" (irresponsible). He had ended up at the altar because a woman claimed she was pregnant with his child. His sense of duty kept him there, but his heart had already departed with Feuang.

However, the truth soon came to light. The woman wasn’t actually pregnant; it was all over. Phawat was finally free. He rushed back to Bangkok to find Feuang, searching everywhere until he discovered her whereabouts. Before he left to find her, their friend Manow spoke in a strange, unsettling tone.

Phawat traveled down the path to reunite their hearts. "The Heart’s Path..." Phawat thought to himself, admiring the name Feuang had given this road. The way was beautifully lined with stones and the most vibrant marigolds he had ever seen.

When he arrived, he didn't find a house. Instead, he found a small pagoda, shielded and surrounded by beautifully arranged stones. The plaque read: "Feuangchat: Born... Died..."

Phawat stood there in a daze of confusion and grief. Feuang was gone—gone forever. His heart had left him, and it could never be whole again.
