Mek Ka Lah

Mekhala is a story set during the era of World War II. It follows a Thai man who goes to study in Japan, where he falls in love with a Japanese woman. They have a daughter together, though the father is unaware of her existence. Fate takes a cruel turn, separating the young couple.
Tragedy deepens when the mother suffers an accident that leaves her face disfigured. Unable to care for her child, she places her daughter in an orphanage. The daughter, named “Mekhala,” grows up not knowing who her biological mother is.
Later in life, she travels to Thailand, where she falls in love with a Thai man, while also trying to uncover the truth about her parents and her own origins.
